In order to successfully graduate, you will need 100% attendance in all classes, which does include the orientation session. Our teachings are guided by traditional hatha yoga, which is the basis of all physical yoga styles. Both the adjustments we teach, the methodology and the underlying philosophy are applicable to any style of yoga.
In this 200 hour course, there is not sufficient time to explore any one yoga tradition in great depth. The texts we use are Pantajali’s Yoga Sutras and the Bhagavad Gita, which give you grounding in key yogic philosophical principles.
You will be awarded an international Yoga Alliance certification, which allows you to register with the Yoga Alliance and to teach in your country. This course will teach you the fundamentals of traditional hatha yoga, but it is not a specialism in any one style. It takes years to develop a specialism and we trust that with our approach, over time, you will be able to develop your own authentic style. What you learn with us will be valuable for any specialism you later develop or hone.
